Never mind the technology, where’s the learning?

As far as I know, this device was not at BETT last week (but then there seems little information about it anyway), but having just turned an old Quicksilver G4 Mac into a media device attached to my LCD TV, I’m drooling at this one.

Asus seem to have produced a PC built into a keyboard. No particular innovation there, if you remember those early home computers, weren’t they just that? But this one uses wireless HDMI (not without its problems) to communicate with a display, and has a natty touchscreen built in as well. This automatically enables you to display the output on your LCD TV without any connection. Presumably, there’s more to come on this once wireless HDMI is sorted out, but it certainly makes you think about its potential in a learning environment.
